POSITION VACANT GARDENER

 Applications, closing at 4.00 pm on Friday, 11 December 2009, are invited to fill a vacancy in Council’s Technical Services Division for a gardener. This is a permanent full-time position.

Applicants must have a keen interest in horticulture, experience in mower operation and show initiative to work with minimal supervision. The job generally involves the maintenance and upkeep of Council’s parks, gardens, reserves, and road verges.

The salary and conditions will be in accordance with Level 4 of the Municipal Employees (WA) Award 1999. The hourly rate will be $21.09 plus allowances.
