Sound Shell - Gingin

Completed in 2010, the Sound Shell located in Granville Park, Gingin is a great public facility.

A sound shell is a commonly used apparatus in theatre which is designed to reflect sound towards an audience. The Sound Shell is a permanent facility in the park and it is perfect for an intimate evening on the sloped grass watching a live band play or enjoying a movie.  

The Sound Shell is commonly used to host the ANZAC Day Service in Gingin given the Remembrance Wall is adjacent to it and has also been used for the British Car Day event and at other events. 

Hiring the Sound Shell

The Sound Shell is available for public or commercial hire for an hourly fee. To view these fees, please visit the Shire's list of Fees & Charges. 

To make a booking, please fill out the online Event Application Form or contact the Shire on (08) 9575 5100. 

Once the Shire receives your booking request, we will check if your requested date is available. If it is, we will contact you to confirm and arrange for the payment of your booking.
