As part of Western Power's Regional Connect program, they'll be undergoing works in Lancelin to enhance reliability and minimise the impact of unplanned outages in the Lancelin community.
The scope of work includes the installation of a High Voltage Injection Unit (HVIU), which will provide a backup power supply to the Lancelin area. The HVIU is expected to be operational by December 2024.
While these works are underway, a mobile generator will be deployed to support power supply to the town between November 1 – 25.
