Ranger Services
The Shire of Gingin Ranger Services team perform a valuable role in making our community a better place to live. Working closely with community and police, our rangers are responsible for:
- Animal (domestic) control
- Dog complaints
- Cat complaints
- Straying stock on roads
- Illegal camping
- Fire prevention including firebreak inspections.
- Parking issues
- Litter control (including illegal dumping)
- Off-road vehicles
- Abandoned vehicles
- Restrictions of public reserves and roads
- Local area patrolling
- Illegal dumping of rubbish investigations
Our Rangers are on duty and available from 8am – 4pm, 7 days a week. Rangers are only available for an after-hours call back for URGENT issues, e.g. dog attacks in progress or stock on roads.
