Application for Proposed Animal Husbandry Intensive (Poultry Broiler Farm and Associated Development)

This public notice is to advise that the following Application for Development Approval is being presented to the Regional Joint Development Assessment Panel on Tuesday, 11 October 2022.

LOT NO:         LOT M1254 HUNTER ROAD, ORANGE SPRINGS

PROPOSAL:     PROPOSED ANIMAL HUSBANDRY INTENSIVE (POULTRY BROILER FARM AND ASSOCIATED DEVELOPMENT)

With respect to the abovementioned development application, the following summary is provided:

  • The development consists of two additional sheds and related structures for ‘Farm 1’, bringing the total to eight sheds;
  • A new eight shed ‘free to range’ farm, outlined as ‘Farm 3’;
  • Additional caretaker’s dwelling;
  • Transportable accommodation for on-site farm workers.
