Important Microchip Update - Closure of HomeSafe ID Microchip Registry

HomeSafeID, a microchip registration database used by some Australian vets, will soon no longer be operational. This means you will no longer be able to log in to update your contact details, change ownership or identify your pet should they go missing.
What do I need to do?

  1. If you do not know where your pet's microchip details are stored, visit petaddress.com.au
  2. If your pets details are stored with HomeSafe ID, you will need to apply to register your pet with one of the following Microchip Registry services:

What is my pet's microchip number?

If you don’t know your pet’s microchip number or have lost their paperwork with their registration details, contact your veterinarian, council or animal shelter. They can scan your pet and provide the microchip number.
