The Shire wishes to advise that work has commenced on the Lancelin bowling green at the Lancelin Community & Sporting Club and this area will be a construction site for some weeks.
This work has commenced prior to the Central Midlands Coastal Football League grand finals which is being held this Saturday 31 August. This event will be bringing approximately 2,500 visitors to the area, so we ask families to please supervise your children so they remain at the football oval and not venturing onto the bowling green site, or onto the golf course and sand dunes – this is for safety reasons and also to minimise any disruption to works.
We want everyone to have a great day at the footy and your support is much appreciated.
Please note the Lancelin Community & Sporting Club will be closed on Saturday as all activities will be down at the football oval.
