Lancelin has taken quite a hit from the storm with multiple hazards throughout the area including power outages, fallen power lines, debris and road closures.
Gingin Road is currently closed between Lancelin Primary School and the CWA Hall.
Western Power crews are working as quickly and as safely as possible to restore power to around 370 homes and businesses in the Lancelin area. The current estimated restoration time is 10:30am.
The cause of the outage is a shed roof that has come into contact with powerlines causing damage.
