NBN Fixed Wireless Upgrades

Daytime works will be underway in Seaview, Nilgen and Karakin from Wednesday 6 November until mid-November. To enable these upgrades you may experience planned outages or service interruptions over the next few weeks.

These upgrades will benefit many local households and businesses by providing access to faster speeds and extending the coverage of the existing NBN Fixed Wireless network footprint by up to 50%.

Impacted homes and businesses will be notified of these outages via their retail internet service provider. Information is also available via the network status page on the NBN website: https://www.nbnco.com.au/support/network-status

Note: The tower works will not impact the NBN fixed line (FTTN or FTTP) or NBN Sky Muster satellite services.
