The Shire of Gingin and local volunteer bush fire brigades will be conducting a prescribed fuel reduction burn along Sappers Rd, Nilgen tomorrow 25 June 2024 from 9:30am to 6:00pm.
The prescribed burn will be conducted under a prevailing North North-Easterly breeze and it is anticipated that there will be minimal impact along Sappers Rd, travellers are reminded to remain alert and drive to the conditions.
Whilst some inconvenience can be expected due to the associated smoke, the protection of our community from the threat of bushfire is essential. If you have any concerns relating to effects of smoke, it is recommended you keep windows closed and remain indoors for the duration of this period.
