New Waste Facility Pass Launches Saturday 4 January

By now most Shire of Gingin residents/ratepayers would have received a new reusable plastic waste facility pass in the mail.

As of Saturday 4 January 2025, the new pass will be required to access any of the Shire's three waste facilities at Gingin, Seabird and Lancelin, so please make sure you have the new pass with you whenever you need to dispose waste.

We also ask that - as this is a new system for everyone, including Shire staff - could we please be patient and respectful while our site attendants get used to working with the new system as well. There may be some glitches as we start using it and your understanding in the event these need to be resolved will be most appreciated.

Your feedback will then be forwarded to our Environmental Health team for addressing.
