Holding a public event is a fantastic way to bring the community together and attract visitors from outside the area. To ensure a smooth process and to avoid any potential disappointments, we kindly ask that event organizers provide a minimum of 6 weeks’ notice before their proposed event date.
The Shire requires at least six weeks to process event applications to ensure that all necessary permits, safety standards, and logistical concerns are addressed properly, and to ensure efficient coordination of resources and compliance with any local rules, ultimately helping to make your event both enjoyable and safe.
Please note that event applications will be processed on a priority basis according to the calendar dates.
To help us efficiently manage and approve your event, an Event Application should be completed and submitted to the Shire at least 6 weeks prior to your event.
