Christmas is coming and so is your waste facility pass!! Keep an eye on the post over the next couple of weeks.
Also in your envelope will be a waste & recycling calendar for your fridge and information on changes to waste management in the Shire. These changes include limits on free visits to our waste facilities – see below for more details.
These changes will take effect on 4 January 2025, so you have plenty of time to clean out after the Christmas festivities without impacting your free-visit limits on your passes.
Rolling out the new waste facility system has been a big project for our Environmental Health team and has taken longer than expected, and we’d like to thank everyone for your patience during the last few months while it has been finalised.
